Dr. Gerard is a highly experienced engineer and solutions architect, with specific expertise in developing complex products and applications for disability-related services. His specialties include operating systems, programming languages, XML, Digital Signal Processing, analog electronics, programmable components and simulators, telecom, network infrastructure and protocols, and database development.

Dr. Gerard has a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer sciences, with a focus on signal processing and speech recognition, from Université Paris Sud (Paris XI). He is fluent in both English and French.
